Classically Trained & Certified Instructors

All of our wonderful instructors have had or are under-going a comprehensive certification program in pure Classical Pilates to ensure your safety and maintain the integrity of Joseph Pilates' work. They are trained to modify and tailor all sessions to meet your individual needs.

Donna Longo
Owner & 2nd Generation Pilates Instructor

Donna was fortunate to have been trained under the direct tutelage of Romana Kryzanowska, master teacher and protege of Joseph Pilates, in 1992. She discovered Pilates as a professional ballet dancer when an injury brought her to Performing Arts Physical Therapy in NYC. They had partnered with Romana to form The Pilates Guild and began to establish the very first certification program for The Pilates Method. Donna received her certification, and was asked by Romana to help facilitate the training of the apprentices at their Los Angeles studio, which led her on the path of teacher training. She later worked for Sichel Chiropractic, now Power Pilates, and various other medical professionals in NYC before opening her own studio in New Jersey in 1995.

After more than 20 years, Donna is still, more than ever, dedicated to preserving not only the method as it was handed down to her but also the style of teacher training and personal mentorship that she learned from Romana, hoping to inspire others in the same way.

Donna also holds two certificates in Thai Yoga Bodywork and is undergoing training towards becoming a Nutritional Therapist with The Health Sciences Academy.

Liza McCune
Pilates Instructor

Allison Wszolek graduated from our 600-hour teacher training program in 2015. She has developed into a wonderful teacher and we are happy to have her on our team.

Terry Restaino attended Rutgers University and graduated with a degree in Communications. She continued her education at Rutgers Graduate School of Management and obtained her M.B.A. After working for Andersen Consulting for many years, she left the business world to raise her two boys. Diagnosed with arthritis, Terry became interested in fitness. She obtained her certification from the Arthritis Foundation to teach fitness to those with Arthritis. Terry extended her involvement in fitness by obtaining certifications from the Aquatic Exercise Association and a personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise. Terry completed her 600 hour comprehensive Pilates certification through Integrated Fitness in 2012.

Patti Serravallo received her Peak Pilates System Level 1 certification in 2009 and Mat and Reformer in 2008. She also has a Level 1 and 2 Mat certification from PHI Pilates in 2006 and finally completed her 600 hour, Comprehensive Classical Pilates Teacher Training Program with Integrated Fitness in February of 2013.

Liza McCune started practicing pilates in the late 90's while she was living in New York City. She always appreciated the strength and stretch that Pilates's provided. In early 2000, she moved out of the city, and her practice got put on hold.

In 2013, she started teaching Spinning Classes through Mad Dogg Fitness, and injured her back. She felt her posture on the bike was compromised so she returned to her mat practice. She immediately realized that practicing pilates helped her with form while teaching spinning and resulted in less tension. She started moving better in all her day to day activities.

Liza decided in May of 2015 that it was not enough to just practice pilates, but also to  understand the method and it's principals.  It's what brought her to Integrated Fitness. She wanted to learn the method from a 2nd generation teacher as close to Joseph Pilates as she could get. She completed her certification in June of 2016 and continues to teach for Integrated fitness and share her passion for Pilates with her clients.

The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.
